Er zijn drie marktonderzoeken gepubliceerd:

• Opportunities for the Oilseed Market in Ukraine
• Owners associations invest in renovation projects
• Opportunities for District Heating Systems in Ukraine

De onderwerpen van de marktonderzoeken zijn door NUSEP in het kader van het 2getthere programma aan Agentschap NL- NL EVD Internationaal voorgesteld. De marktonderzoeken zijn uitgevoerd in opdracht van Agentschap NL- NL EVD Internationaal.

Inkomende handelsmissie februari 2012 succesvol verlopen

Van 7 t/m 10 februari bezochten 10 Oekraïense bedrijven in het kader van het 2getthere programma Nederland voor een inkomende handelsmissie. Zij spraken met Nederlandse leveranciers en adviseurs voor hun projecten in Oekraïne en bezochten de VSK-beurs in de Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. Tevens bezochten zij enkele projecten en sites (houtgestookte WKK, recycling van afval, fabriek van NUSEP-lid Rendamax). De afsluitende netwerkborrel was druk bezocht met circa 30 bezoekers. De deelnemers aan Nederlandse en Oekraïense zijde zijn tevreden en hoopvol gestemd over de samenwerkingsmogelijkheden die uit deze missie zijn voortgekomen.

In opdracht van Agentschap NL - NL EVD Internationaal organiseren IMC en Next Step Oekraïne voor NUSEP een inkomende handelsmissie van 7 tot en met 10 februari. Na een vlucht via Praag werden Marcel van Westerhoven van CREM en Peet de Bruijn van De Bruijn Advies & Realisatie maandag 7 november opgehaald met een taxi van het vliegveld van Lviv door ons derde teamlid en medewerker van Next Step Oekraïne, Boris Bashkovskyy.

Dinsdag na aankomst in het 7Days hotel van de toeristische, 100.000 inwoners tellende stad Kamyanets-Podilsky stond een kennismaking met de directie en staf van het gemeentelijke afvalinzamelbedrijf SKT op de agenda. Na allervriendelijkst ontvangen te zijn, kregen wij een tour langs verschillende appartement complexen (90% van de woningvoorraad) waar op dat moment rolcontainers en afvalbakken werden geleegd door de SKT inzamelvoertuigen. Op de uit de jaren zestig daterende stortplaats werd de administratie en wijze van beheer toegelicht en werd aangegeven slechts over nog circa vier jaar stortcapaciteit te beschikken.

Woensdag werd een algemene presentatie op hoofdlijnen verzorgd voor de burgemeester en zijn staf om verkennend over inzamelscenario’s te praten en de mogelijkheden van energieopwekking met afval, waarbij ook de energiemanager aanwezig was.

Donderdag werd een eerste verkennende test gedaan voor analyse van de samenstelling van het afval. Deze test werd als voorbereiding gedaan om de medewerkers en management ter plaatse ervaring op te doen om in de toekomst deze proeven zelfstandig uit te voeren. Het resultaat van het eerste bezoek was dat een pilot opgezet zal worden voor scheiding van plastic, papier en glas op een drietal locaties. Hierbij zal het accent komen te liggen op de communicatie met de bewoners. Het eerste intensieve werkbezoek werd beëindigd met een toast van de burgemeester om in februari 2012 gezamenlijk een investerings- en financieringsplan te kunnen vaststellen op grond waarvan met Nederlandse kennis en equipment een duurzaam energie- en afvalbeleid gevoerd kan worden voor Kamyanets-Podilsky.

Today Ukrainians have the worst drinking water in Europe. Most of the diseases are related to the water quality, which reduces years of life. The project provides construction of 23,000 systems for cleaning of drinking water. Firstly, it is planned to equip kindergartens, schools and medical establishment. Due to this project, European standards will be achieved in Ukraine following one of the main and basic human rights - the right for quality drinking water.

During the third International Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency Forum-2011 (REF-2011) NUSEP organised a seminar with the title'Dutch technologies for energy efficiency improvement of Ukraine'. The REF is a meeting of professionals, whose activities are connected to the Ukrainian market of alternative energy and energy efficiency.

Illya Starikov, NUSEP - Involving Dutch energy efficiency technology in Ukraine

During his speech, Ilya Starikov has told about possible ways to attract Dutch technology into energy efficiency sector of Ukraine. Mr. Starikov stressed that the Netherlands has extensive experience in implementing energy saving projects and gave examples of specific projects implemented in district heating employing renewable sources of energy, waste treatment sector and heating of greenhouse without usage of natural gas.

Svitlana Ivanchuk, Global Carbon Ukraine - JI activity in Ukraine: reality and future

Svitlana Ivanchuk presented an overview of JI projects market and described the dynamics of the costs of emission reduction units. Ms. Ivanchuk addressed the status of post-Kyoto Protocol, gave recommendations for Ukrainian companies that are planning or have already started to develop a joint implementation projects, taking into account the suspension of national procedures for trading quotas.

Hans Hendriks, Serigas International - High-grade bio methane for € 10 ct/m3

During this presentation, the innovative technology for biogas production from any type of organic waste was described. Further, specific business-cases for potential owners of the projects were presented. The presentation had great interest among the listeners, since just a few days prior to the seminar The Parliament of Ukraine adopted a long-awaited law on the applying of "green tariff" to projects related to the production of biogas. A significant increase in the implementation of projects in the field of biogas is expected after the entry into force of this law.

Vadym Polyakovskyy, Philips - Lighting 2025: cutting electricity consumption by 40%:

Vadym Polyakovskyy, representative of Philips, told about existing potential savings on lighting and how it is possible to reduce consumption of energy in buildings and cities due to the use of new energy saving technologies of Philips. In his speech, Mr. Polyakovskyy paid special attention to one of the major aspects of energy savings, such as modern lighting technology. Since, in fact, according to the International Energy Agency, 19% of electricity consumed worldwide is used for lighting.

The results of the event were covered by the organizers of the REF forum as well as by professional media.

Kalush Vodoteploservis Utility invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for “Reconstruction of Borehole Vacuum Water Intake Station “Dobrovliany” (Blocks 1, 2, 3)”. The completion of the facilities shall be attained within 12 (twelve) months from the date of contract signing that is expected in November 2011.

Nederlandse bedrijven/ organisaties (consortia) worden door het Agentschap NL, divisie NL EVD Internationaal opgeroepen tot het indienen van een offerte voor het G2G-project Oekraïne - Transport & Mobility. Het G2G-programma is onderdeel van het 2g@there-programma EK 2012, www.meetyourgoals.nl.  Het programma biedt mogelijkheden voor ondersteuning van en samenwerking met (centrale) overheidsorganisaties in Midden- en Oost-Europa. De uitvoeringsperiode is van 17 oktober 2011 tot en met 30 juni 2012.
