Signing Letter of Intent delegation Poltava 29 June 2010

On the 29th of June, a Ukrainian delegation from the city of Poltava visited NUSEP. During this visit, a letter of intent was signed between the city of Poltava and the Dutch companies BGP Engineers, Nijkamp Aanneming and the German business company IFT GmbH for the intention of renovation of the full district heating system in Poltava.

About the theme Government & Community

The economical collaboration with Ukraine will have benefits if government bodies and non governmental organizations will work on economic, social and bureaucratic structures in Ukraine. These structures have obstructions nowadays for remodeling them in the energy sector. By aiming for changing the structure, in close cooperation with Dutch government bodies, non governmental organizations and consultants, a positive climate can be created to invest in remodeling of the sector.

The Dutch business, possibly in cooperation with the Dutch government, can contribute to the remodeling and professionalizing of the public domain through advice, management and knowledge transfer. This theme focuses in Ukraine on the government, organizations and other organizations with public tasks. Examples in the field of Government & Community are knowledge transfer and consultancy (capacity building) to Ukrainian companies and government bodies through seminars and specific (semi)institutional projects.

The exact working-plan will be discussed in October and November by the members of NUSEP and the EVD. This working-plan will be a part of the 2g@there program for the years 2009 – 2012. Dutch companies and organizations who want to collaborate are invited.
